Jason Tai


Jason focuses on investment strategy, fund structuring, and investor relations. He brings industry-leading financial and global markets experience, having worked for Goldman Sachs' Mergers and Acquisitions Group in London and Hong Kong and for Credit Suisse First Boston as an equity analyst. Prior to Ahana, Jason was President of Johnson Associates Corp., a leading luggage manufacturer. He earned an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Business and received a BA from Wesleyan University.

Marvin Tien


Marvin focuses on fund investment decision-making, project pipeline, financing, and monetization. Marvin's two decades of work in finance has given him unmatched experience developing large-scale projects. In previous roles, he raised over $2 billion of equity capital for infrastructure and resources projects in North America and Asia. Marvin holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from Cornell University.

Jane Batzofin


Jane works with investors and banks to structure investment vehicles, manages project and deal closings, and assists with acquisition and partnership strategy. She brings years of experience that crosses between finance and alternative energy. At Green Lake Capital, she negotiated PPAs and Land Leases, analyzed projects, and closed debt and tax equity financing. Before that, she was a corporate and finance lawyer in New York, representing investment banks and private equity investors. Jane holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BA from UCLA.

Zac Christie


Zac directs the project finance team at Ahana, focusing on investment origination, analysis and structuring. Zach has years of experience in finance and alternative energy, most recently with Green Lake Capital, where he financed solar installations and managed project development analysis. He previously worked on both renewable and traditional equity investments at General Electric Energy Financial Services and Greenhouse Gas Services. Zac earned an MBA and a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale University and BA from Duke University.

Philip Williams


Philip leads asset management, investor relations and operations at Ahana. He brings 8 years of experience in finance and alternative energy asset oversight. Prior to Ahana Philip was the Asset Manager for Green Lake Capital’s solar assets, overseeing investor relations, PPA execution, regulatory compliance and portfolio production. He previously worked in Southeast Asia as the Investment Manager for a global infrastructure fund. Philip holds a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University.

Britta Schinske


Britta is the Operations Manager. Her responsibilities include overseeing the performance of operational assets, handling day-to-day operations, managing all compliance and reporting events, as well as coordinating and executing contracts with our third party partners. Previously, Britta was the Operations Manager at OMT Capital, an investment firm based in San Francisco. While there, she was responsible for implementing and maintaining the operational infrastructure, monitoring portfolio tracking devices, and managing trade execution through settlement.

Ivo Pitanguy


Ivo joined the Ahana team in October 2015 as a Senior Associate. Ivo brings tremendous financial and global market expertise to the investment team and is responsible for transacting and executing renewable energy projects in the US and LatAm. Previously Ivo worked for Foresight Group as an Investment Analyst, having worked in the Italian office and opened the regional office in San Francisco where he was based for 3 years. At Foresight Group Ivo was responsible for analyzing, structuring and managing infrastructure investments in the US, LatAm and Southern Europe.
